What is UmiVPN?

UmiVPN is a free, secure, no-log VPN service. It encrypts some or all of your network traffic so others cannot see which sites you visit, helping protect your privacy.

How to download

Open the UmiVPN download page and choose the installer or app-store listing for your system.

UmiVPN offers both store and non-store builds on every platform—either is fine. Store builds update automatically and go through store review, which many people find more reassuring (non-store UmiVPN is still clean software you can trust). Non-store builds get updates sooner; store builds often lag by a few hours or days.

On Windows, we recommend the installer package: it can use TUN mode right away. The store build needs a Windows service installed before TUN mode works.

On Android, store and non-store builds are essentially the same.

On iOS, if you do not have a US Apple ID, download the TestFlight build. If you do, the App Store build is better—TestFlight builds must be updated at least every three months or they stop working.

On Mac, we recommend the TestFlight build: it is easier than the DMG (works out of the box, no Extension install), and GFW mode works better on TF.

On Windows, iOS, and Mac, you can install more than one build side by side.

How to use it after opening

After registering/logging in, tap the large start button to turn on the VPN. No extra setup required.
